In this post, we are going to tell you a little more about our life in Bermuda. We are Jess and Megan – two sisters whose main goal in life is to visit as many places as possible. Although our plan was to visit the island for no longer than a week, we loved it so much that we decided to stay for as long as we could.
Our job allows us to work from anywhere in the world, so moving to a completely new place was not a problem for us. Today, we will mention some of the things we love most about Bermuda, and we’ll share with you why we decided to create a news blog. The Creation of Our News Blog
When we first got here, we were pretty ignorant about what was going on in Bermuda. We knew that this destination was incredibly beautiful and that we loved the weather, but when it came to the latest news, we knew absolutely nothing. So we started reading all sorts of news websites, as well as online magazines and newspapers.
We exchanged everything we had learned during the day, and the whole thing became a kind of routine. One evening Jess showed me a piece of paper with the daily news she had written down. That was the moment when it occurred to me that it would be cool if we had our own website where we could publish all the news about Bermuda.
We know that there are many people who do not live in Bermuda and who will surely find such a blog useful. In addition, people living in other countries may also be interested in learning more about the festivals, laws, and other specificities with respect to Bermuda. Why Do We Love Bermuda?
We both fall into the category of adventurous people. We love to discover new places, try new things, etc. Therefore, the decision to stay in Bermuda for as long as we could was not very difficult for us to make. It took us less than a week to realise that we would definitely feel at home on the island. Jess fell in love with the climate, and what impressed me the most was nature.
Little by little, we discovered other things that fascinated us. Considering that we were thinking about moving to another country, the idea of living in Bermuda seemed very tempting. This is our second month on the island, and we couldn’t love it more. The people here are super friendly, and the numerous annual festivals keep us in a good mood. The pink sand beaches and the numerous attractions are just some of the other things that make Bermuda a great destination.
